You think learning Mandrin is hard? Well, apparently learning English is also hard.



Updates: Page 18 is up for the cl version. Since MT o lvl is over, I'm not gonna do the translation now. Maybe after November. Heh heh.

I just realize that it may not be possible to read the shinese characters on other computers. Therefore I have thought of something else, but it might take time to get it up.

10 June 2006, Mdm Sng's Holiday Present -_-

To Lihua: Sorry, I thought I had a post on my little flag collection. Even so, you still don't have to misread every one of my messages.

To clear things up, yes, I have a flag collection. The flags referred to are the ones from flag days. Anyone have any flags which they want to throw, please, can you give it to me? As to why I didn't present them during my presentation, its because I forgot about them.

Secondary Four. Graduation year. You'll see classmates and schoolmates leave unwillingly. You'll see people wowing to return to visit. You'’ll see people promising to be "Friends Forever". Many things will be said. Many things will be promised. Yet, how many of these will be true?

Often when we leave, we leave behind our friends as well. How many will remain in contact after a long period of time? Except for extremely close friends who know you well, most will forget you the moment they step out. How many close friends do we have? For some, these can be counted on one hand, or perhaps lesser.

In the show, Ash had two extremely good friends, as Misty puts it: "You're more than just my best friend." Even so, there was no mention of either Misty or Brock in the next season after Ash left Jotto. It may be just a show, but it is the same. However, there is one difference.

What makes me misty most of all,
In our final curtain call,
Is knowin' that I won't see you,
Again...

Misty knew that she would not see the other two again.

Call me cynical, but it's the truth for many of us. I would definitely miss those who were close to me. My only wish is that I would recognize you should we ever meet again.

Just heard a song on one of my tape this morning. I almost couldn't recognize it (sorry for looking weirdly at you, joyce). Then mdm sng gave her hol present. Somehow this song stuck in my head. I hope you don't mind if I use the song instead of something from a book, mdm sng. But I'll also do one from a book if you insist. Sigh. 2120hrs already... Alright, alright, no need to nag mom...
